Transfer Tattle: Geremi
In light of needing funds to supplement his January rebuilding, Joe Kinnear has pulled Geremi from tonight's squad, as the Cameroon man approaches a £1.5m move to Besiktas in Turkey. Geremi's monster wages, along with potentially seeing Smith leave, should free up a fair bit of the wage bill to wheel and deal with, as we seek to bring in a few bodies. It does however leave us perilously close to having no midfield, as the likes of Kazenga Lua Lua get blooded.
