Transfer Tattle: Citeh slammed

Whilst rumours of an 8m bid circulated, it seems that Man City aren`t quite playing the cash rich card just yet, with the apparent opening offer for an 80+ capped international, in his prime with four years on his contract just 3m. Needless to say this has been laughed off, with a United source claiming:

We received a bid for Shay in writing from Manchester City and we dismissed it out of hand. It was for between three and four million pounds, which is laughable really when you consider we are talking about the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.'

Quite right too. Not even Mike Ashley is stupid enough to sell our prize asset for buttons.

Best keeper in the premier league? He's good but he's no Petre Cech.
