'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Transfer Tattle: Gezza Geremi

In a total non-shocker it looks as if the former Chelsea midfielder is on his way out of SJP. Having become marginalised under Joe Kinnear, the Allardyce signing has been linked with Besiktas in Turkey as he admits a bid has come in for him. The man himself said:

'I want to be involved on the football field. I am nearing the end of my career and I don't want to sit on the bench. I heard there is a bid for me from a club in Europe but I am waiting to decide what to do. To be honest, I want to play. If not, we will have to take a decision to satisfy everyone.'

If the man can't get a game this season he probably never will. Best for all parties if he bolts now. Turkey is a good place for players of limited skill but guts to spare.

Says it all that he's our only fit midfielder for Saturday and his place still isn't guaranteed!
