Transfer Tattle: Mendes

This morning's latest link saw the portuguese midfielder Pedro Mendes, formerly of the parishes of White Hart Lane and Fratton Park, join the various Rangers folk already mooted for moves to the North East.

Once again no fee, quotes or anything of substance was provided in The Mirror to justify it. Mendes is probably most infamous for his disallowed goal from the half way line v Man Utd and also getting dusted by a Ben Thatcher elbow.

Newcastle are a joke, they done the same last season with Carlos Cuellar, saying he was going to sign for £7m yet they never even bid on him, they are full of shizzle.
