Transfer Tattle: Naughton

Whilst the link to Kyle Naughton isn`t a fresh one, the current tattle of a stonking £8m price tag is certainly news to us. An Under 21 international, Naughton has made a massive 20 appearances for the Blades, fully justifying an £8m tag in this recession hit industry. Anything above £5m would be liable to price out Joe Kinnear, with the Sunday Sun claiming today that he has to sell Xisco to buy.

Good luck with that one Joe.

how much was ramsey when he went to arsenal and he had only played 17 games at senior level. The thing is, naughton's tag would be so high for two reasons. 1) hes quality and English and 2) we dont need to sell and wont sell for peanuts. Promotion is worth much more to clubs vying for promotion

naughton is pure class and WILL play for england for sure!! Naughtons not worth 8m, he's worth 15m if bridge is worth 10m.

plus i carnt see him wanting to go to a troubled club like yourselves anyway, to be honnest. Probably end up at chelsea in a few seasons for around the 15m mark!!
bladesforlife1889
where he will warm the bench like so many other young lads who go there......

Can't see him coming to us anyway if he is so highly rated. I think we'll end up raiding Colchester for whoever the next LuaLua is.

im not just saying it but naughton is amazing. He's 19, english, fast as a wippet, and so cool you wouldnt believe. He is regarded as the BEST player ever to come through the youth policy in the whole of yorkshire. At 10m i'd say now way.
