Transfer Tattle: Westwood

With Boruc and McGregor likely to cost north of 6m each, it looks like Mike and Dennis have identified a cheaper Sports Direct solution in Kieran Westwood from Coventry. The NOTW is claiming that he was deliberately left out of the side to face Kidderminster Harriers due to a bid having already been accepted.

Westwood previously played for Carlisle United 152 times, only signing from the Cumbrians in June 2008. He is also a former Man City trainee.

Following Kinnear`s claims about having to sign Championship players this would certainly fit the bill.
