Transfer Tattle: Owen

Transfer Tattle: Owen

Following the quick Inter Milan link last week and subsequent Mourinho denial, another Serie A club has jumped into the Michael Owen mix if the papers are to believed. Juventus, never a club short of a bob or two, have been linked with moves for two English strikers today. Jermaine Defoe remains the main focus of their attentions however the name of Owen has also been thrown into the mix, as it seems he is with every club looking to buy a striker these days.

Owen might be best served to seek counsel from another ex-Liverpool and Newcastle who made the move to Turin. I`m sure Ian Rush would give Owen a rather more realistic view of a move to the Turin giants.
