Player Ratings: Hull

Player Ratings: Hull

Given: 9 - Once again our man for all seasons. Well received despite his earlier statement.

Coloccini: 7 - More comfortably suited to right back, away from the tussles in the middle.

Taylor: 7 - Some deep sighs from the away end with some of his positioning and marking but helped keep the clean sheet.

Bassong: 8 - No surprise to see a clean sheet with the lad back. Definitely our find of the season but how long before he starts 'N`Zogbia-ing`?

Enrique: 7 - Just a surprise to see him on the pitch. Steady away though.

Guthrie: 7 - Victim to a cowardly Fagan tackle - where will the media condemnation of that occur?

Butt: 6 - Shouldn`t have been playing really but god knows how he battled through 90 minutes.

N`Zogbia: 5 - Out by just after 35 minutes. Replaced by:

Gutierrez: 7 - Added a bit more drive to the team but definitely needs some quality end product.

Duff: 5 - Supposedly a creative outlet in the side but offers very little of that.

Owen: 4 - Paid to score chances, didn`t take them. Simple as that. We all bleat when he gets no service but he did, got in position and failed to capitalise.

Carroll: 4 - Out of his depth. Should have done better with the chances that came his way.
