'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pre Hull: Lua Lua

With the lad having performed youth cup heroics against Oldham earlier in the season, Kazenga Lua Lua is hoping to try and make the first team cut for the Hull game tomorrow. A brief turn against Liverpool gave us a taste of the youngster for this season, and he hopes to turn that into a consistent run, saying:

"It was good to come on last week, but we were disappointed. The game was already over when I came on, but I did what I could to impress the manager. Now it would be great to be involved again at Hull.

The Newcastle fans are always behind the team, even when we`re not playing well. They stayed with us to the end. It wasn`t our day, but that`s football. We have to forget about the Liverpool game, and train hard for Hull. It`s another competition for us, and we have to keep our season alive.

We have to try to get a result, and if we can do that, then the fans will have a smile on their faces again. No-one was happy about the Liverpool result."
