Pre Hull: Eddie hoping for the call

With a goal against the Scousers perhaps his only bright spot on an afternoon we`d all like to forget, David Edgar has set his sights on some involvement against 'Ull tomorrow as we seek to end the half a century of cup misery since Jackie and the boys brought it back to Tyneside in 1955. Edgar said:

"Hopefully I will be in the side again. It was good to be involved in the Liverpool game, even though the result did not go in our favour. The FA Cup gives us a chance to wipe out some of those memories.

It is a big game for us and our season could hinge on how we do in this competition. Hull will not be easy, but we will be looking forward to the game, and we will be doing everything we can to make sure we are in the hat for the next round."
