Owen tattle: Mourinho issues denial

Owen tattle: Mourinho issues denial

In a very scathing snippet, Jose Mourinho gave a massive snub to Michael Owen by admitting that the Michael Owen now is not part of his considerations. Mourinho said:

'I never thought of him. Over the last year he has had lots of major injuries and now he is not the Owen we knew.'

Quite a poignant statement in terms of Owen`s standing in terms of world football, however I doubt it makes much of a difference in terms of Owen`s decision given his previous indications about not moving overseas.
