Turkey on the New Year`s menu for Geremi?

Turkey on the New Year`s menu for Geremi?

Following a season of flitting in and out of the side, it`s no surprise the name of our Cameroon midfielder Geremi linked with a move away. This time it`s Turkish side Besiktas who are being linked with a £2m move for the player, which would represent good business on a player we acquired on a free two years ago.

Geremi`s latest appearance saw him hit the bar against Liverpool and test Reina with a Ronaldinho-esque effort from 40 yards out. However his sum total of contributions seems to be the odd free kick assist, with his legs having gone in open play. Sounds a lot like David Beckham but without the marketability.
