Owen, Inter and the Adriano-Suazo conundrum
Yesterday saw the initial suggestion that Michael Owen could be on his way to Serie A in the January window, with Jose Mourinho sniffing about. Today saw some additional elements thrown into the story, with Adriano and David Suazo linked as makeweights along with a significant bundle of cash.
However despite the suggestion of this move, which sounds like decent enough business on paper for Ashley to sell, Owen has made it previously clear that he has no intention of going overseas after his Real Madrid experience, especially as it seems like he could be playing a similar role at the San Siro.
The papers also speculate on the wannabes of City, Villa and Spurs monitoring his situation.
