Sunday: It`s Sir Wor Bob Day!

Sunday: It`s Sir Wor Bob Day!

A hero to many for his skills as a player, a giant of the game for his managerial record and now even more loved and respected for his efforts in raising funds for charity, Sir Bobby Robson couldn`t be held in higher esteem in people`s eyes. It is therefore appropriate, and certainly overdue, that Sunday`s game against Liverpool is being tagged Sir Bobby Robson day, an effort set up by the Newcastle United Supporters Club (NUSC).

Fans are being urged to bring all sorts of flags, banners and scarves to unite and celebrate the achievements of a very special North Easterner . To quote NUSC:

'Let's make this a Christmas to remember and show Sir Bobby Robson, if he didn't know it already, that he really has led 'a Wonderful Life'.
