Krul set for longer spell with Cumbrians

After making a positive impression with both Carlisle fans and management, Tim Krul has extended his spell in the North West for another month. With the praise of Greg Abbott ringing in his ears, our reserve team keeper looks set to continue in nets after Abbott said:

'We've seen what Tim can do already, and I think he's been excellent. Hopefully he will continue to build on the performances he has given us.'

Krul remains behind Shay and Harps, vying with Fraser Forster for the third choice keeper position.
