'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Contradictory Chuck reports

The media today seems to be tying itself in knots trying to decide whether Charles N'Zogbia is coming or going. With SkySports and Setanta running 'N'Zogbia wants out stories', this view of things seems to have been contradicted by both the player and fellow team mate Seb Bassong who believes his French Under 21 colleague will stay. Chuck himself said:

"I didn`t like to look at the table too much earlier in the season. You just try to win a lot of games and give your all. And if you do that you stay out of trouble.

Going into a new year it would be a great boost to get back into the top 10 and then see what we can do in the second half of the season. Hopefully the bad times are behind us.

We have some great players here at Newcastle. And we can go higher in the table. Joe has helped us and we have picked up points under him.

I don`t mind playing left-back. It`s no problem - if somebody is down I will step in and help the team."
