Duke of Pork aiming for contract extension
Having spent about the sum total of 6 months fit in his 18 months at Newcastle, Mark Viduka has asked for an additional year`s contract as his right in the deal he sorted out. Given that sort of arrangement he should make it to at least 9 months worth of playing time at NUFC. Viduka himself said:
'I never had it in my head that I might be retiring and, for me, it would be ideal if I could play one more year here. I love coming to work every day, especially when we win games. It's a beautiful place to be. Ideally, I'd love to play another year for Newcastle. I work hard for the team whenever I'm used.'
