Post Spurs: Player Ratings

Given: 8 - Our Mr Consistency added an assist to a series of quality saves.

Beye: 6 - Neutralised Spurs` left but needs to regain last year`s forward looking form.

Bassong: 7 - Again a steady effort by the lad, bar a slight lack of composure for the Huddlestone incident.

Coloccini: 6 - Somewhat erratic at times but his partnership with Seb looks steadier than his one with Taylor.

Enrique: 4 - Definitely the weak link on the day. Given a turgid time by Lennon and lucky to stay on the field.

Gutierrez: 6 - Quiet by his own very high standards as he came up against a more quality rearguard.

Butt: 7 - Tenacious against the Spurs` midfield

Guthrie: 7 - Again, much like Butt, the youngster held his own against Spurs` expensive midfield.

N`Zogbia: 9 - Simply brilliant by the Frenchman. Put his sulks away and had a stormer.

Owen: 6 - Didn`t do much overall and missed the one genuine chance that came to him.

Ameobi: 3 - Quite simply lacking in anything positive to say about the lad`s performance.

Viduka: 6 - Some good set ups by the lad, leading to the Owen chance and Duff`s goal.
