Spiderman desperate for Owen stay

Joining the calls of the likes of N`Zog and Danny Guthrie, Jonas Gutierrez has joined the growing band of his fellow teammates calling for Michael Owen to renew his contract with the club and the monster deal offered. Speaking to the Ronnie, our Argie ace said:

'I want him to stay so much, and I want to work him with him more. It's one of the reasons I came to Newcastle United - to play with players like him. I knew that Newcastle must be a big club to have a player like Owen.

It was a great opportunity to come here, and I want to be my best for the team, hopefully with Michael here. That is how everybody feels - we all want him to sign a new contract, as he's a special captain.

Michael always plays well and works very hard for the team. He's a very good striker, and one of the best players in the world. He's certainly one of the best players I've worked with in my career. What I like about him is that he not only gets goals every time he plays, but also gets back and helps in midfield.

Sometimes people don't see this, but he does it, and it works for Newcastle. I enjoy playing in this team with Michael and Oba very much. All we have to do as wingers is get the ball and get it to them. If we do that regularly, they'll score.'

Ooh this Jonas guy is Spiderman! He's cool, I saw him against Pompei. Anyway, keep Owen if you fellas want to stay afloat!

Owen needs to stay at newcastle and repay the club for sticiking with him through all his injuries, England needs a fit micheal owen and he is beginning to find his form again, it would be shocking and discraceful if he was to jump ship now he owes the newvcastle faithful
