Former target eyeing PL move
Rumoured to be our attempt at signing a Didier Drogba type player, last summer saw us priced out of a move for St Etienne striker Batefemi Gomis after the player clattered in a couple of goals on his international debut and went on a run for France. Now the player is set to move again, however his dream move appears to be following the well worn path of French players to the Emirates. Gomis said:
I know there are Premier League clubs after me, everyone knows it. It does not mean I will leave in January, St Etienne has the last word, but when the Premier League calls you, it is difficult to say no, lets wait and see. I love the Premier League, like the Spanish league. Arsenal, I love the football there, it is a joy for any striker to play for that team.'
