Fab return for Owen

After banging in a fair few goals recently and showing current England regular Jermain Defoe how to take a chance on Sunday, it looks like Lil Mickey is back in the plans of Mr Capello. In one of his periodical updates, the national boss has admitted that both Owen and David Beckham could potentially be involved going forward along with Jinky Jimmy Milner. He said:

"I know Owen played very well and scored a goal. I always said the door of the national team is open for all the players. I don't know, I just arrived this morning and read the newspaper. I will check him in January and after that I will decide if he is ready, if he is OK for the next squad.

His fitness is important, I have to choose depending on my idea of the team. The most important thing is that he will be fit. The last three times he was not fit.'
