Drawing up the targets list in the last few weeks, another name has been thrown into the ring, this time in the form ofvBorussia Monchengladbach defender Steve Gohouri. The player himself has told skysports.com that he is targeting a move to the Premier League and the speculation has allegedly led to reports the we`ve lined up a 4million euros (£3.4m) bid to sign the lad in January.
Gohouri, has previously been linked with the Wigan Pie Eaters, said:
'I am back playing very well, that is why clubs all over the world - there are clubs in France and Russia - are after me. However, my next move has to be in the Premiership. There are clubs showing some interest, but to be honest the Premiership is not an obsession. I love the Spanish league as well, however, in the Premiership the physical contact is more, so I can enjoy myself more there.'
