Duff on Owen

Duff on Owen

With co-ownership of racehorses a mutual interest, Damien Duff says it`s more the footballing reasons that are what makes Michael Owen a must-keep player at NUFC. Duff himself came out to big up his fellow nag fancier, saying:

'He is a massive player and he has been for many years. He has obviously been unfortunate with injuries at Newcastle. But when he is fit, he plays and scores goals. It would obviously be a massive loss if he leaves. Hopefully the club sorts his deal out.'
