Kinnear talks January
Joe Kinnear today admitted that he faces no pressure to sell in the January window, contrary to massive amounts of media reports saying that he has no money in the pot! A bit of a contradiction in terms and I`ve got to say I can see a few fringe players definitely being shipped out but Kinnear himself said:
'The only reason I would move players out is if they wouldn't be regulars in the first team. In any case, I wouldn't be thinking of moving anybody out until I got players in because of the injury situation we've got at the moment. We've quite a few players who are long-term injuries, so I definitely need to go out and get new faces in the next transfer window, and that's what I intend to do. "
Given Ashley`s statement about no longer bank rolling the club, it looks like a few names might have to find their way to the exit door.
