JFK praises fans

JFK praises fans

Bigging up the support, Joe Kinnear has joined the ranks of people praising our fans, following on from Danny Guthrie`s notes on the Chelsea game. The boss even ranked the noise at the Villa game as louder than the mackem`s support at the derby. No exaggerations then Joe? He said:

"Ever since I`ve been at Newcastle the fans have been nothing short of magnificent. The atmosphere for our home games has been the best I`ve known. There was a good atmosphere at Sunderland for the derby, but it still didn`t compare with the noise our fans made at home against the likes of Manchester City and Aston Villa. We`ll have great backing again at Middlesbrough and I`ll be reminding the players that we`ll have 4,000 making the trip with us on Saturday."
