Kinnear`s targets on table
Ho, ho, ho. Santa is on his way and Joe Kinnear has submitted his list of January presents to one of the dwarves at the Grotto. Dennis Wise should be winging his way to Lapland now to deliver the list personally, hopefully without adding more names like total success stories Nacho Gonzalez and Xisco. They`ve been great haven`t they? Kinnear said:
'I've got my eye on two or three players that we need. Dennis has the task of getting them, provided we get the finance. Dennis has also been given the task of removing some of the players that I feel are not good enough for the club. I am to work on the assumption that if there is somebody I desperately want, then it is possible he (owner Mike Ashley) would put his hand in his pocket, providing the sale of the club is not imminent at the time.'
