Given move: £6m plus mooted move

Following rick after rick by Spurs` Gomes, does it really look like Shay could be on his way? This morning`s Northern Echo certainly thinks so, with the paper suggesting Wor Shay could be the next NUFC player to leave should a bid of £6m or more come in.

With Spurs struggling to answer the goalkeeping problems seen under both Robinson and his new replacement, surely Harry Redknapp would consider £6m a snip for a man who has single handedly kept Newcastle in single figures in some matches.

J Dog, bigger team? I'm a spurs fan and i think as we are bottom of the league this is not the time to be bragging about who is the bigger team. But i do hope that we can entice Shay down south, fantastic goalkeeper.

Rich, Newcastle are floating around the same place we are. They haven't won a trophy since Santa was seen and keep putting their faith in Kevin Keegan, who is simply a loser. Tottenham are bigger than Newcastle. Sorry, but it's the truth.
