'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Shola aiming for a nifty fifty

After goals against the mackems and Man City the statisticians are bigging up the fact that Shola is only two goals away from his NUFC half century. With Fulham`s defence hardly Terry and Carvalho I still think they`re pushing it to think he`ll notch twice in a game! Anyway the chap himself said:

'It's certainly something I want to get to as soon as possible. I thought I'd get there quicker than I have done, but I'll just have to keep on working hard in training day in, day out to get myself back to 100 per cent fitness and sharpness.

I've just got to keep on doing what I've been doing. I'm just delighted I'm on the road again and scoring goals. When you're not scoring it always plays on your mind when you're a striker. It was part of the problem for me - my confidence was down. But the new manager's been fantastic for me in terms of my confidence, and hopefully I can keep this form going.'
