'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Young Krul angling for loan move

Having spent time away from the club at Falkirk last season, Tim Krul has set his eyes on a repeat at some stage this season. His time at Falkirk definitely enhanced his reputation and led to rumours of bids from Feyenoord and, more bizarrely Chelsea. Krul said:

"We have massive problems with the keepers at the moment. So I got a run-out and I was happy to do that for the club. It`s always good to play first-team football. There is a good chance to go on loan this season for me again so I`m just waiting for that.

The good thing with football in England is that you can always recall your goalkeepers at any point if you need to do it. Maybe there will be a Championship or League One club where they need some cover, so we will see what happens."
