Shola set to start v Everton?

Given he`s displayed the mobility of a 84 year old Rheumatoid Atrhritis sufferer in his last ten Newcastle appearances (Ed. Last ten? Last 134 surely?) it seems like Shola Ameobi could be in line for a shock recall to the starting line up against Everton this Sunday, Live on Sky.

Goodison has never been a happy hunting ground for the Fenham Eusebio, with a sending off being his only action of any note against the Toffees on their own patch. However Joe Kinnear obviously sees something a lot of us don`t, saying:

"Shola Ameobi is another one. He`s got enormous potential - he`s a big strong athletic lad and if we can sort out his head he could be awesome for us. I know people have said some things about the lad but this is his chance. He`ll get fantastic service from quality players in this team and my message to him is that he can be a real handful if he believes in himself. It`s an incredible opportunity for him."

One word springs to mind with this latest revelation - Wimbledon.
