Mort back on the scene

According to The Independent this morning, former fans-favourite Chris Mort has re-emerged from his Freshfields office to assist in closing out the potential sale of the club. Mort, extremely well thought of in supporter circles due to his strong communication skills, was a key part of the takeover and was instrumental in making the initial part of Ashley`s reign so successful. Indeed the roots of the Ashley reign`s demise can be traced back to him leaving.

As well as the Nigerian gang, it is understood that the bank Ashley has commissioned to sell Newcastle, Seymour Pierce, has received interest from credible sources in America and China.

Given they haven't even put a bid in I think it's highly doubtful.
