Venables to plug the gap?

Venables to plug the gap?

Having come in to rescue the Burra previously following the reign of terror of the calamitous Captain Carling (Robson), Terry Venables performed a massive miracle in keeping the Beasts up. According to media speculation it looks like he could be tasked with a six-week ship steadying effort at SJP until new owners come in.

Other men linked with the interim job include Hoddle and O`Leary which seemingly makes Venables a clear favourite in my eyes. However as yet he hasn`t been offered anything concrete to accept / reject.

Has everyone forgotten his extremely interesting spell at t'Leeds back in 2005? Hardly a roaring success was it?
