'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Xisco talking

Having been one of the more outspoken players in the last few weeks, Xisco has come out and voiced his opinions ahead of the Spurs cup game tonight, with expectations on cup progression. Our new Spaniard said:

"I think we have a good team with good players, but we have not demonstrated this on the pitch and we need to work a lot to change this position. I believe in this team because we have good players with great talent. Belief is the most important thing if we are to come out of this. We need a winning mentality.

It is very difficult when you concede a goal after 10 or 20 minutes. We need to change that. It`s not like in Spain. Here, two hours before a game people are around the stadium. The atmosphere is very good - I have never seen something like this."

Xisco is expected to drop to the bench tonight with Oba Martins expected to return.
