Kenny resurrected?

Rumours abound this morning of Kenny Dalglish and Roy Evans being pencilled in by Mike Ashley to become the new saviours of Newcastle. No introduction to Kenny is required with the bloke having bossed us from 97-98. Following the return of Messiah Number One, the much feted Dalglish resurrection won`t quite double an attendance figure like KK.

Under Kenny we reached a cup final and finished 2nd but most will remember his full season of turmoil where we ended up in the bottom half, only avoiding relegation through the inspired form of a Mr A.Shearer.

Also amongst the late runners and riders is Gerard Houllier. However with eight having knocked the post back, the NUFC manager`s post is definitely the poisoned chalice of the Premier League.
