Milner gone

With rumours having come out all morning about medicals at Bodymoor Heath, the Aston Villa Official Website confirmed that James Milner has signed a four year deal with them this morning.

The whole saga has been an utter embarrassment to NUFC and shows the fractured nature of Newcastle 'United` - what a crock of sh*t that particular tag is. Quite what KK must make of it all remains to be seen - is Mike Ashley purposely trying to undermine him or is this part of his Sports Direct fire sale 'everyone must go` mentality that he is trying to introduce at the club?

With distrust of Ashley, Wise and the Cockney Crew set to grow we can genuinely ask whether or not the bloke is using the club as a jolly good laugh or is more sinisterly asset-stripping ahead of a sale to recoup his earlier buyout of the long term loans?

Vote in our poll - is the bloke a fraud, chancer or does he intend to stick around in the long term?

i feel sorry for you lot on this one boys, villa have to been ran like a corner shop in the past. at least jimmy has came home.
Stig
yeah, thanks alot nufc! any strikers knocking around we can buy?
villain76
Alan Smith, Mark Viduka and Shola Ameobi. Yours for a bargain, £10m package, rarely used, brand new with tags.
SirLes
Gloating lacks class boys, I really feel for you that we've bought your best player. How times have changed. To be honest though, if you've got an unsustainable wage bill and the reported debts from previous transfers, there has to be something done about it.

There's some bloke called Owen ,he might be worth a bid seems a bit injury prone though.Seeing as NUFC and Ashley don't want their best players he might as well go to a club who do,are in Europe and are on the rise!!.
happyvillan
tarzan you are right the gloating should stop. Its not long since we had the Barry saga. My brother-in-law supports NUFC and I know he will be disappointed with this and the direction of the club. I think Steve Round will be a big loss too. Despite this, good luck for the season and I hope things pick up for you soon.

Another Villa fan here, I'm sorry to see the nations second club in such a state. Good luck NUFC. I hope you get yourselves sorted out soon.

Milner is back where he belongs and where he always wanted to be. He will become a star at Villa like Ashley Young et al.The future is Claret and Blue not Black n White!
laurie0123
i was been satirical at the ever deepening crisis within the ranks of newcastle united, how could they sell a player who is getting better and better and near on world class according to kk. there is a big difference in opinion between the director of football and the manager and big mike. now let us pray for the good people of nufc annnnnnnnnd each other. edit: alot of nufc supporters think its a great deal...swings n roundabouts...we'll see.
villain76
The £12m reported fee, less whatever Leeds' cut is, will only be good/bad value on the basis of who comes in to replace him and how they perform in b&w. Therefore its way too early to make a call on that.
SirLes
Do any Toon fans actually post on this site?

laurie - are you a villa fan or united? Says your the top member of NUFC and I've seen your comments on the villa forums....
los_angeles_villan
Your poll vote on Mike Ashley is very interesting, with there being an almost even number of people who think he's a fraud compared to those who believe he is genuinely interested in the club's long term future. Looks like there's disagreement all round!!
Villan-in-Cyprus
Typical Newcastle - when things are going right on the pitch they end up going wrong off it.
BaldEagle
What are they playing at. Everytrhing was going so well, and then we go and sell one of our best players and he's still young
Jonni_G
Good buy

Lots of slagging Milner off on other sites by barcode fans, now sky news reckon Owen can go for £2m, suppose when he does then he wouldnt have been capable of hitting a barn door either!
