'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Roeder Gears Up For Biggest Test

Glenn Roeder gears up to go the Theatre Of Dreams with his head held high. NO FEAR!

Roeder: 'We have to get back to reality and we have to be higher up the table than we are now. The fans demand and deserve it. This club needs to be in Europe every year.

'We had a rotten start to the season with injuries and, in the final analysis, if the team has not made Europe it would be a disappointing season.

'Kieron came out and did some ball work with us and it was great to see him back on the training ground. But it is still early days for him yet and the only thing we can say is there is no way we are going to rush him back.

'Old Trafford is not in our thinking for him or Titus Bramble.

'There's no reason to be fearful. We know how good United are, they are excellent collectively and individually but we have a great team as well and what a great stage to test yourself. If you don't want to play at Old Trafford you shouldn't be a professional.'

On curent form there's no reason not to feel hope for this game. Although Utd are also doing well at the mo. It's who performs on the day.
