'If It's Football, It's Vital'

KK sums up away performance

On the back of the great performance and point v the Mancs, it was an understandably happy KK that spoke to the media:

"I`m not going to say, 'I love it! But I was really pleased with the attitude. It was spot on. I said to the players if we can come here and do that, we can go anywhere."

Overall Kev should get one hell of a pat on the back for taking what could be described as the most positive Newcastle team we`ve seen at Old Trafford in years. Having suffered some batterings in the past - shipping 5 goals under Steve Clarke and Sir Bobby as well as last season`s six under Nigel Pearson - it was great to see a solid defensive display supplemented with the brilliant counterattacking speed of Martins and Spiderman on the break.

Gutierrez looked a quality signing - both offensively and defensively sound. And Coloccini looks a decent player too.
