Owen going?

Typically the impending move of Dimitar Berbatov has led to Tottenham`s chums in the media trying to figure out who Juande Ramos is going to sign to bolster what looks like a seriously weak strike force. Having lost Defoe, Keane and potentially Berbatov, then slumped to a 2-1 loss v the Beasts yesterday, the always opinionated Spurs fans will no doubt be crying out for a goal getter to come in.

With Owen`s contract situation as precarious as ever (one year and counting) there is little doubt that both him and Oba Martins (due to his release clause) will be subject to more speculation on their futures. The Sunday Express has the little England man as the filler. Other names mentioned are the perennial Andrei Arshavin and former Ramos charge and previous Spurs man Fredi Kanoute.

Nah dont think Owen will leave the toon for spurs and to be honest i cant see berbatov leaving it will take some wedge off cash from the scum to persuade spurs to let him go.

I can't see Spuds getting him - likely to be Santa Cruz from Blackburn imo.

If he remained injury free he is an outstanding player who would grace any premier team. Would love to have him at Spurs. Unfortunately Spurs choked at the first hurdle so good luck today. Someone needs to apply the presure on the 'elite top four'.
