Saviola linked
With Owen linked to Spurs it seems unsurprising that rumours of a like-for-like replacement in Javier Saviola have come out. Saviola, currently at Real Madrid, has been linked with a season long loan move to ourselves, having been one of those players, like Kluivert, who seem to have been linked with us a number of times previously.
The papers speculate on the previous dealings of Jeff Vetere and Tony Jiminez being the key to the deal and their knowledge of all things La Liga.
