'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ilunga linked again

As the Warnock deal lurches closer to completion, it seems as if Newcastle are playing their cards close to their chest with a back up move for Herita Nkongolo Ilunga.

French newspaper L'Equipe, claim Newcastle are continuing talks with Toulouse. The 5'11 defender originally from the Congo, joined Toulouse in 2007 from AS St Etienne, he played 35 games for the club in his debut season but is now open to a move away from the French side.

However given the Warnock interest and ramped up speculation over his future following a transfer request I'd tip Celtic to get the African from the French club, as KK gets the man he's been chasing for a month.
