With the news Alan Smith was not in the starting line up last night, sports writer`s copy was furiously flying around talking of moves to Everton. With Mike Ashley`s insistence on cutting down the wage bill, Smith`s £60k a week seems a prime candidate for a shift, especially seen as the 'striker` couldn`t hit a cow`s arse with a frying pan.

KK has attempted to dampen speculation on this saying: "

You wish you could offload him. Has any 'striker' ever managed to play so many games at such a high level as Alan Smith and score so few goals?

60 grand a week?..................I can't believe he was on 60 grand a week and who would buy a striker who cannot score for the reputed 3mil plus on those crazy wages
