'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Joey in the dock (again)

Having seen Joey Barton now charged by the FA in relation to the whole Dabo affair the club have reacted by issuing a statement countering this:

"The club has sought clarification from the Football Association as to why this decision has been reached now, given the incident occurred nearly 15 months ago. Joey will be requesting a personal hearing in relation to the charge and the club will be making no further comment on the matter at this time.'

Looking back at past affairs it seems that John Hartson ended up with a fine and a three match ban when he laced Eyal Berkovic on the training ground. Expect a compromise between that and the eight match Thatcher-Mendes ban.

A real home from home. I hear he has his own car parking space too.

Poor old Joey. He's obviously being victimised by the nasty FA.

Ditch the muppet, he deserves nothing less. Or even better, ship him to the lower leagues in the same team as Ben Thatcher.....Millwall would take the pair of 'em like a shot.

Such a pile of bull****. How much longer is the witchhunt going to go on?
BaldEagle
It seems very odd that the FA have taken so long to do something about the incident.
