Krul pledges but hedges

Despite rumours of moves to Chelsea, Heerenveen and Feyenoord it seems Tim Krul sees his long term future at NUFC. Whilst not ruling out a loan move abroad it seems he`s closed the door on a move to Chelsea. Tmbo said:

"This is my club and I want to stay. You never know what can happen. Things can change in one day or in three years` time. All I know is I love Newcastle United and I love England. There`s been a lot of speculation and a lot of stories - one of them saying I had already gone! But it`s just talk. My future is simple - to prove myself, get fit and then see what happens.

My shoulder is fine now. I have been training for two weeks and it has been a good pre-season. It`s good to be back at the club. We have a lot of games coming up, so hopefully I will get a couple of run-outs soon.

Going out on loan makes you a better player. It doesn`t matter where you go. First-team football is good and it was great in the Scottish Premier League. For me to get my first loan deal with Falkirk was very good. I just hope to get a chance and prove myself to the new manager.

I want to show Kevin Keegan what I can do, but it`s still early in the season. We will see what happens in the next couple of weeks. We`re going to Spain for the pre-season tour and I hope to get a chance. I still have great memories of making my debut in Palermo - and I want more."
