Mixed Milner Messages

Dependent on which rag you read it seems Jimmy Milner is in for a whole new ball game in 2008/09. The Journal this morning takes the KK line, stating that it looks like Spiderman Gutierrez will be moving to the right hand side role with Jinky Jimmy tucked inside into the Rob Lee role.

However the red tops adopt a different tack, with the gaffer apparently at loggerheads with the board over their intentions to flog him should a 10m+ bid come in. Once again the perennial favourites, Villa and, more prominently, Liverpool are cited as suitors.

Considering the early impact he made when he was one of the youngest players in the Prem, he's never quite kicked on imo

You can't write off Milner. He's got loads of potential.
