Beast offered to Newcastle

Beast offered to Newcastle

Apparently surplus to requirements at Real Madrid, the 'Beast of Seville' has been offered to clubs in the Premiership. With Newcastle short of midfielders it might seem like a perfect deal, however I would not expect to see the Beast at Newcastle anytime soon. He would require quite a hefty wage packet and at 26 he might be stretching the age limit on the kinds of players Keegan is looking at. One thing he will have in his favour is the fact that he has Premiership experience with Arsenal and according to the Journal that's what Keegan is looking for.

If I remember correctly he got better towards the end and managed to score ten goals for Arsenal.
