If Glenn Roeder is voted 'Manager Of The Month' for February, he will only be the second caretaker ever to get the award.
Only one caretaker boss has ever won the award, when Phil Thompson was a stand-in manager for the ill Gerard Houllier at Liverpool.
Roeder could find out this weekend, but the FA could make the announcement next week because of England's international with Uruguay.
Roeder has picked up the same number of points from his four games in charge in the Premiership - 10 - as Mick McCarthy has at Sunderland from 27 matches this season. That's why Roeder is a candidate for the Manager of the Month award for February.
