Michael Owen is out of the England games

The Guardian reports that 'Michael Owen has been forced to withdraw from Fabio Capello's England squad for the friendlies against the USA and Trinidad & Tobago. The striker has been struck down by a virus and has returned home.'

Thankfully it's not another injury. The striker who has been on form since Newcastle raised their game and the end of the season is the subject of much speculation. We are just hoping that he remains fit all through next season and starts paying back his wages in the best way possible: by scoring goals.

How does one player have so much bad luck, had he been fit for every England game he would IMO have broken the goal scoring record by now, and probably put it out of sight for the foreseeable future.

Blokes Jinxed, I wonder if KK will be open to offers for MO or Martins?

See the next article, according to the Sun (so it must be true) Martins is being offered to other clubs.

According to the Everton Vitals michael Owen is a target of Moyes.

I am sure he just wanted to start his holiday and not go to a couple of meaningless friendlies.
