Joaquin And Gomis The Latest Names Reported

Valencia winger Joaquin and St-Etienne striker Bafetimbi Gomis have both joined Kevin Keegan's summer shopping list, so we are told!

Joaquin, a one-time target for Chelsea and Liverpool, is allegedly being made available by Valencia this summer according to reports, so having failed with a reported attempt for former Arsenal man Jose Antonio Reyes, now with Atletico Madrid; Keegan is thought to be looking at his fellow Spanish international Joaquin.

Whereas sources in France are saying that Toon scouts have watched Gomis and having scored 14 goals this season could be another name that Keegan looks towards this summer as his St James' rebuilding begins.

Can the Toon get one or both of these (do they even want one or both), or are the links nothing more than here say and speculation?

How much is Joaquin valued at?
Fan of Blues
If I remember rightly - he was Valencia's record signing. Somehow, I doubt they'd sell him for anything less than their investment.
