Edgar Prepared To Beef Up

David Edgar is enjoying the chance he is being given in the starting line-up for the Toon but concedes that he needs to bulk up, and this is something he is willing to do: 'I'm playing against England internationals who are big strong lads,' Edgar told BBC Radio Newcastle. 'I've got to get bigger and be able to compete with them, but it's a learning curve and I'm excited to be playing.'

The Canadian ended the match against West Ham with several stitches in a head wound but still did enough to impress Kevin Keegan but what sort of future do you feel that Edgar has at St James'?
