KK Prepared To Spend Big!

Kevin Keegan is likely to be handed a substantial amount of money this summer to rejuvenate his Toon squad in the hope of turning them into a force to be reckoned with again, and he has no qualms about spending up to 25million on any one player: 'Spending 25 million on one player doesn't frighten me one bit,' Keegan told the Sunday Sun. 'You have to target big players. If you have a budget, it's like any budget: if you have 'X' million, you can divide it into one or two players, or four or five.

'We'll be in there pitching for some very good players. If you don't bowl, you can't knock the wickets down. We might get hit for six, but we might get a wicket.'

Keegan seems to be talking as if he means business, so as long as Tyneside is a big enough draw for the big name players is doesn't seem as though the financial side of things will be a problem at all.

Can you see many, if any big money arrivals this summer at St James' and is this what you want? Would it just be the money luring players to the Toon or would it be more than this?

u could sign Luka Mod.. oh wait he went to Tottenham instead because you are a little crap club who only people in ur city support! Tottenham arent a massive club by 2days standards but even theyre bigger than u lot! hahahahahahaha Kevin Keegan needs to be shot in the head and you guys need to get a "Manager" instead of old Newky heroes to take charge. Y didnt u go 4 Capello when we was leaving Madrid? Try and get Mourinho... problem is he would laugh at u. u could always go back for Martin Jol or wait 4 West ham (another bigger club than u) to get jol then go 4 Curbishley!
